Road Kamelot

[Road is staring down her communicator with a mischievous glint in her eyes, humming what might be a familiar tune to some people.]

But it's none by none now, isn't it? They didn't do such a good job of...

[She stops as a far too large snake slithers its way over one of her shoulders. By all rights it should have crushed her, but the only change in Road is her chiding tone.]

You shouldn't interrupt me when I'm talking, Len-Len! You're getting too big too...hmm, how old are you now? Maybe we should have a birthday party for you. We could have invited Drusilla if she was still here, she'd have wanted to come after helping me buy you. But people keep on leaving and it's not fair.

[The fit of temper that follows as she bangs one small fist against the table knocks the device to the side. The only thing that can be seen is Len-Len making a swift escape, and Road doesn't bother continuing with what she was saying, her device cutting out.]

[A long table has somehow been set up in Xanadu under the dark sky. Thirteen places, though of course that can be amended as necessary should more than one of the same dear family member turn up. There are even two larger than usual chairs, one for the head of the family and the other in memory of the dearly-departed-not-yet-Awakened-again.]

Papa! Tyki! All of you! We're having family dinner~!

[It might have been a strange spot to choose but she doesn't want to miss the fireworks celebrating the Chinese New Year, and really, who cares about the crowds milling around? It's like target practice for the Noah. Her chair is tipped back on two legs, one of her feet resting on the table while she looks smug yet pretty in a party dress for the occasion.]

Anyone else can only say hello if they've brought me a present ♪ Unless if you're Allen. Then you are the present.

I never want to think I'm an Exorcist again. It's so boring. Still~, it seems like the Exorcists really enjoyed themselves taking our place, didn't~ they?

...and Devit was so funny.

Yesterday was okay though~. If only we hadn't been cursed too, it would have been even more fun. But I got to spend all day with Allen!

So~, how about another picnic now everyone's back to normal? In the dark~ since there's no sun today.
